Skip Hire Services in Balerno

Ah, Balerno. Nestled on the edge of the Pentland Hills, it’s a place where sheep outnumber cars and the hills roll on as far as the eye can see. Now, while the sheep might not have much use for a skip, you, dear human, just might. Enter GoSkip. We offer a veritable smorgasbord of skips, from the tiny ones perfect for that ambitious garage clean-out, to the behemoth-sized ones that could probably hold an entire ceilidh's worth of debris. Our prices are as competitive as your neighbour's garden, and we’re as reliable as the Balerno Farmers' Market on a Saturday morning. Dive into our range of skips here to find your perfect fit. Whether you're tackling a home renovation or just need to declutter, our skip hire in Balerno has got you covered!

What can you put in our skips?

Alright, let’s talk about what you can and cannot chuck into our skips. Think of our skips as big, hungry mouths—but even they have dietary restrictions. They’ll happily gobble up your household items, garden waste, and construction materials. But try feeding them a mattress, asbestos, plasterboard, or large electricals, and you’ll get a firm "no thank you." Sofas? Well, they’re a bit like that dodgy haggis—sometimes they’re okay, but you probably want to double-check. For the full scoop on what’s skip-worthy, give our handy guide a look here.

Skip Permits in Balerno

Thinking about plonking a skip on your driveway? You're golden! But if you’re eyeing the public road for your skip’s new home, you’ll need a skip permit in Balerno. This involves a bit of paperwork, a small fee, and a few days’ patience. Fear not, though! GoSkip takes care of all the nitty-gritty with the local council, so you can focus on more important things, like contemplating the mysteries of the universe. If you're in a spot with controlled parking, you might also need a parking suspension. While we can offer sage advice, sorting that bit with the council is your adventure to embark upon. Curious about the permit process? Check out the details here.

What happens to your waste?
